Alvarado Is Home Base for Our Trucks
Alvarado is the oldest city in Johnson County, sitting where Interstate 35W crosses US 67. Our yard is on County Road 810 west of town, about 7 minutes and 4 road miles from City Hall without traffic, so an Alvarado call is a short drive for us and an easy one to fit in.
The town has grown fast. Census estimates say 48% of Alvarado homes were built since 2000, and about 1 in 10 housing units is a mobile or manufactured home. Out on the county roads, and on rural lots beyond the reach of city sewer, those homes rely on their own septic systems, and three out of four homes in town are owner occupied, so the upkeep falls on the people living there.
The ground matters here. Eastern Johnson County sits on the Blackland Prairie, with deep clay soils. Heavy clay takes water slowly, which is one reason aerobic systems with spray distribution are required on many smaller or wetter lots in the county, where a conventional drain field would struggle.
Septic Work We Do in Alvarado
Being this close, we handle every piece of an Alvarado system: tank pumping for conventional and aerobic setups, repairs on aerators, spray pumps and collapsed lateral lines, TCEQ maintenance contracts and inspections, and complete installations from removing the old system through final inspection. Not sure when you are due? Check our pumping schedule.
